This Week from Mitch

Dear Brothers and Sisters in Christ,

I hope and pray that you are well. This morning, as I took Decoy for his walk, I was caught a bit off guard by a little coolness in the air. Decoy noticed the air too, as there was a prance in his step. To be honest, it started to get me excited for the weekend.

We have a couple of things going on. First, our class on Christian Nationalism continues this Sunday at 9:15 AM in the Garden Room. I am really looking forward to leading it and the discussion that will follow! Last week, 56 people came. It's been a great mix of folks from each service, and the conversation has been really fruitful. If you want to attend, please come.

After the 10:30 AM service, we will thank Monica Briseno, our interim organist, for her work over the past year. Monica has played the organ beautifully and faithfully for us, and I am thankful. Publicly, I just want to say, Monica, you will always have a place here at St. Martin's. Our church community is grateful. We will also thank the choir and their families for their work. The choir's ministry is special, as it is a ministry of both beauty and prayer through music. Please join me in thanking them.

The church calendar year is picking up speed. I am excited for the days ahead. Come and join us! Invite a friend. All are welcome.

Peace,

Mitch
