Jeffry is engaged to Jose Cotto. They have three dogs and four cats.
Why Jeffry feels called to serve:
I feel called to serve in this way as another way to actively seek and serve God in his church, committing my time and talents as God would see fit to use them. St. Martin’s has welcomed me (and Jose) with open arms and I am thankful and appreciative that God has led us to this wonderful place. I would be honored to serve on our vestry should the parish elect me. I would commit to do God’s work in this place, as our prayer book says, “with God’s help.”
+ Molly Dougall

Personal/professional info:
Molly is a pharmacist at Prisma Health where she is able to serve the community through patient education. She is a member of the Junior League of Columbia, serving families and children in Columbia to promote health and well-being. Pre-COVID, Molly attended the 10:30 a.m. service and sat in the back right pew with her family, and longs for the opportunity to return when it is safe to do so.
Why Molly feels called to serve:
Growing up, I was taught that stewardship is the giving of time, talents and treasures. I have realized that at different stages in our lives, we are able to give different proportions of time, talents and treasures. Now that I am established in my career, I would like to give more of my time and talents to St. Martin’s. I think being a member of the vestry would also be a great way to learn more about St. Martin’s and its numerous ministries.

Finance Committee and the S.C. Medical Association. She also previously was state director of Students First, an education reform organization. Regina still works within the home.
Why Regina feels called to serve:
St. Martin’s has become our church home. Its ministries, rector and staff, congregation, and fundamental beliefs are more aligned with my family’s than we’ve felt in years. I remember as a child feeling at home in our church; assisting with Altar Guild, visiting ailing congregants, acolyte training, Christmas Eve mass preparations, and the feeling of family. I’ve attended many churches since that time (having moved out of state) and hadn’t found that sense of belonging again until finding my way to St. Martin’s. Most importantly, my children feel it. They look forward to waking up Sunday morning and going to Sunday school, seeing their friends, running from one location to the next in excitement, “checking on the grown ups” they know, attending children’s choir practice, and feeling at ease in such a special place. Our desire as parents is not only to grow in our own spirituality and relationship with God, but also to teach our children to seek the same relationship. This is being realized at St. Martin’s. The parish’s ability to thrive, continued growth, solvency, and general success has become personal to me.
