St. Martin’s Organ Upgrade Project
St. Martin’s 1972 Schantz Pipe organ is a beautiful instrument that has served our congregation faithfully for many years. Completing the instrument by filling the stops, as well as upgrading pipes and components, will allow it to perform to its full potential and continue to bless us with beautiful music for generations to come.
-
Work will center around completing and/or modifying the existing stop list, extending the range of the instrument and allowing greater musical expression. Work will also address certain acoustic limitations that relate to the original design and space considerations. The result will be greater musical versatility, projection, and am improved quality of sound.
Great consideration and care will be given to the integrity and history of the instrument, quality and timbre of sound, and longevity so many future generations can continue enjoy sacred organ music here at St. Martin’s.

We are currently in the planning stage of this project. A committee is currently soliciting and evaluating upgrade options. We have already received significant donations towards our organ renovation, but are actively raising additional funds for the project.
Given the custom and specialized nature of the work, it will likely take at least a year for the project to be completed once begun.

If you have an interest in our project our Organ Renovation Committee would love to hear from you!
We are also continuing to raise funds. To make a gift towards our organ improvement project contact Robyn Holt in our church office.
