This Week from Mitch
Dear Brothers and Sisters in Christ,
I hope and pray that you are well. We are at the halfway point of our stewardship campaign, and we're doing great! To everyone who has pledged, thank you! Your gifts and increased giving are deeply appreciated. If you have not pledged or you have questions about pledging, feel free to reach out to me. I'd love to have a conversation. Denise and I give to St. Martin's because we believe in the ministry of St. Martin's-in-the-Fields. We love our church and give out of that love. This year, we would love to have all pledges turned in by St. Martin's Day, November 9, so we can gather and celebrate the work we've done together.
This week, the Luke Bible Study will be on hold between the services. Instead, we will have our first meeting about the adult pilgrimage to Greece at 9:15 AM in All Saints. Please come and learn more. For folks who have filled out an interest form, information will start coming out today and tomorrow.
A special thank you to our amazing walkers who participated in Walk For Life, and to our volunteers who went and organized food at Harvest Hope Food Bank this past week! Thank you! Also, a huge thank you to those who helped with our first organ concert. St. Martin's, you truly do a lot! Thank you for being the hands and feet of Christ in the world.
Finally, we give thanks for the ministry of Ronnie Wise, who has resigned as head of music at St. Martin's. The talented Drew Bozard will be conducting our choir as we begin a search for our next Music Director.
Peace,
Mitch
