This Week from Mitch
Dear Brothers and Sisters in Christ,
I hope and pray that you are well. This Sunday, we baptize three children, welcoming them into our communion of faith. I am so grateful that these families have found a home at St. Martin's. We are a church that says "we will" when asked if we will support these people in their lives in Christ loudly and with great pride. I am grateful for this, and for all of you. As a parent, over the last eight years, I have witnessed the profound impact St. Martin's has had in the raising of my children, from the discipline of being an acolyte while also learning the rituals of our faith, to the fun trips of EYC, to formation, mentors, coaches, safe listeners, pseudo-grandparents, and boisterous cheerleaders. It's all been amazing. It was once said that it takes a village to raise a child. I think this is true. I am grateful to be a part of the village that is St. Martin's, and I look forward to welcoming these three little ones into it.
In Christ,
Mitch
