This Week from Mitch

Dear Brothers and Sisters in Christ,

With our Annual Meeting approaching, I have spent a lot of time reflecting on our past year. All I can say is "Holy wow!"

We've donated literally tons of food, thousands of pounds of it. We've supported refugee ministries, recovery ministries, feeding ministries, and hurricane relief projects. From this day last year, to my best count, we have hosted 243 different worship services in our Chapel and Sanctuary, and that number does not include the prayer services conducted by our Lay Eucharistic Visitors!

It's been a lot. Last year at our Annual Meeting, I challenged our ministry groups to work more effectively together. I believe we have done this, and the numbers tell that story. 153 Sunday ministry volunteers, nearly 250 unique services, 34 young people attending our Youth Group, and the list goes on.

To everyone who helps make St. Martin's happen, please know I am grateful! I hope to see you this Sunday at our Annual Meeting following the 10:30 AM service.
